Goodletite Bound Resin Droplet Pendant

This Goodletite Pendant measures 51mm and is set on a 60cm Plaited Cord with Toggle and Loop Closure.

Goodletite is undoubtedly NZs rarest Gemstone, it is unique to New Zealand and found only in the Hokitika area of the South Islands West Coast. Goodletite is composed of Ruby, Sapphire and Tourmaline crystals in an emerald green Fuchsite along with small inclusions of associate minerals. It is said that Goodetite is 1000 times rarer than Diamond.

This Pendant is encapsulates pieces of Goodletite in Resin, and captures the original colourations of the gemstone as oil cannot penetrate the stone. So it is a great way to display the vast colourings of Goodletite. 

Please note due to the Gemstone being pourous it is almost impossible to remove all air bubbles from the resin, so very occassionally there can be a small air bubble in resin set pieces.  This does not affect the integrity at all.  If you would like videos of these pieces in the light, dont hesitate to contact me via email or social media.
