$295

Obsidian GeoBraid Disc measures 40mm and is set on a 65cm Suspsenion Cord.

Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed when lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. Consisting mainly of Silicon Dioxide, It is an igneous rock.

It is average on the hardness scale, brittle, and amorphous; it therefore fractures with sharp edges. In the past, it was used to manufacture cutting and piercing tools, and it has been used experimentally as surgical scalpel blades.

Obsidian is a powerful tool for those seeking protection, grounding and deep-set healing. It forms a shield against negativity, It blocks psychic attack and absorbs negative energies from the environment.

Obsidian is truth-enhancing. It brings clarity to the mind and clears confusion.  Obsidian helps you to know who you truly are.

The Kopae is a symbol of continuity, togetherness, and eternity

This Obsidian originates from the Kaeo/Pukete area in Northland.

These pendants show such beautiful and unique characters in the light. Some display tiny speckles of snowflakes though out which look like the milky way, others are deep black with or without larger snowflake crystals. And once worn and body oils have been absorbed, they will take on the most beautiful deep lustre and glow. Photos are of actual piece.

Being a volcanic glass, Obsidian needs to be treated with care and respect. These Obsidian Pendants are best suited to gentle wear and must not be dropped. Cared for properly and stored safely when not being worn, your pendant will last generations.
